I'm taking a break from farming for xp on my Mesmer also. It was fun working toward 1 million; but I've had enough for now. My next project is getting my Elementalist, Rayne Frostfyre's xp up to 1 million. I love playing as an Earth/Water build in Fissure, it really takes the edge off. So doing quests there will help, but I also am working on a 55 build using Earth Magic. So soon I'll figure out a way to farm some sort of high level creatures in Tyria. As of now my Mesmer, Warrior, and Monk all have over 1,000,000xp, so I can't wait to get my Elementalist up there too to complete that project on my main account.

My ranger is making his way to Marhan's Grotto, he's at Droknar's Forge right now though.
Oh, and I'll hopefully reach my milestone in fame points tonight :/ which is 2,000.
